One-Vehicle Crash on Route 8, Venango County Woman Airlifted to Erie Hospital

ROUSEVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred around 3:00 p.m. on May 23, on Main Street in Rouseville, on Route 8, Venango County.

According to police, this crash occurred as 67-year-old Linda E. Yashinski, of Seneca, was traveling north on State Route 8, in Rouseville, when for unknown reasons, she drove her 2009 Chevrolet Equinox LT into the deep ditch along the right side of the roadway.

Yashinski was extricated by mechanical means, and then airlifted to Hamot Hospital in Erie. The extent of her injuries are unknown.

Her passenger, a three-year-old male, of Grove City, was using a child safety seat.

The extent of his injuries are unknown.

Rouseville Volunteer Fire Department; Oil City Jaws of Life; and Community Ambulance assisted at the scene.
