Teen Escapes Injury in Brookville Area Crash

ROSE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State police said a 19-year-old man escaped injury in a one vehicle crash in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Police said the accident took place during a heavy rain storm on July 3 around 10:27 p.m. when 19-year-old Christopher Capo, of New Kensington, lost control of his 1996 Chevrolet Lumina while traveling on SR-28.

Capo’s vehicle was able to “get on top of the guide rail without impacting it” and then traveled on the guide rail for approximately 90 feet.

The vehicle then reached the end of the guide rail and came to a rest on the ground.

Capo was not injured in the crash.

He was cited with a speeding violation.
