CLARION, Pa. – The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 1:00 p.m. for Clarion County and surrounding areas.

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh has issued an updated Winter Weather Advisory at 2:04 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014:

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…3 TO 6 INCHES.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW…SNOW WILL RAPIDLY INTENSIFY BETWEEN 3 AND 5 AM.

* SNOW ENDING…SNOW WILL TAPER TO SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH THE MORNING ON TUESDAY.

* WINDS…SOUTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH.

* IMPACTS…HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO SNOW ICE COVERED ROADS…AND REDUCED VISIBILITY DUE TO BLOWING SNOW.
