Clarion Volleyball Hosting Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend

All money raised from Breast Cancer Awareness weekend will be donated to The Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital.CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion University women’s volleyball team will be holding its annual Breast Cancer Awareness matches this weekend when the Golden Eagles welcome Gannon and Edinboro to Tippin Gym Friday and Saturday.

All money raised from the weekend will be donated to The Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital.

Clarion hosts Gannon at 7 p.m. Friday and Edinboro at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The team has been selling T-shirts the entire season and will continue to do so this weekend to raise money while also holding a Chinese Auction, collecting donations and giving out Pink Ribbons. The t-shirts are one for $12 and two for $20. The ticket prices for the Chinese Auction are one for $1, five for $3 and a sleeve of tickets for $5.

NOTES – Last year, the Clarion University athletics department raised nearly $6,000 for The Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital through efforts from various Golden Eagle athletics teams.
