PARKER, Pa. (EYT) — A local woman was taken to a nearby hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Parker last week, according to a March 4, 2024 release.

According to State Police in Butler, the crash occurred around 2:25 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, on Washington Street, at its intersection with Division Road, in Parker City, Armstrong County.

Police say a 2017 GMC Acadia operated by 56-year-old Barry J. Hoppe, of Parker, and a 2013 Nissan Rogue driven by 48-year-old Christine R. Buzard, of Chicora, were involved in the accident.

Hoppe was not injured.

Emlenton Area Ambulance Service transported Buzard to Allegheny Health Network in Grove City for suspected minor injuries.

Both drivers were using seat belts.

According to police, Hoppe was charged with a “no passing zones” traffic violation.
