Man Reportedly Steals One-Pound Chocolate Egg

According to a March 30 release, Clarion-based State Police investigated a retail theft at Country Fair, on 28th Division Highway, in Paint Township, Clarion County, at 12:08 a.m. on Friday, March 22.

Police say a known 61-year-old Tionesta man stole a one-pound chocolate egg, valued at $8.00.

Summary charges will be filed in District Judge Timothy Schill’s office.

The suspect’s name was not released.

Cinder Block Thrown Through Area Man’s Window

PSP Butler responded to Beaver Dam Road in Clay Township, Butler County, for a report of a criminal mischief incident around 11:31 a.m. on Friday, March 29.

Police say the victim reported someone damaged his property sometime in the early morning hours while he was at work.

During this incident, an unknown actor threw two cinder blocks through his living room windows, causing damage inside the residence as well.

The victim is a 59-year-old Butler man.

Drug Possession Incident Involving Local Woman

According to a report released on Monday, April 1, State Police in Franklin were dispatched to Hill Street in Emlenton Borough, Venango County, around 7:25 a.m. on March 22.

Police say the driver was identified and arrested for Act 64 violations.

The suspect—a known 44-year-old Emlenton woman—will be charged through District Judge Patrick Lowrey’s office.
