SHARON, Pa (EYT) – Primary Health Network, recognized as the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Pennsylvania and esteemed as one of the nation’s premier healthcare providers, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Lillian Williams as Chief Operating Officer-Elect.

With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years in progressive healthcare leadership, Williams brings a wealth of experience in health administration and a commitment to patient care excellence to her new role.

A Legacy of Leadership

Williams’s distinguished career showcases exceptional leadership across diverse healthcare settings and populations. Her notable achievements in program evaluation and process improvement underscore her strategic insight into business operations and program development. Her tenure as Vice President of Health Services at Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio demonstrates her ability to drive innovation and deliver results.

A Seamless Transition with Our New Chief Operating Officer-Elect

Williams will work closely with Joseph Montone, who has served as Primary Health Network’s Chief Operating Officer since 2017 until his retirement. Throughout Montone’s extensive two-decade tenure, he adeptly navigated various positions within Primary Health Network, starting as Vice President of Clinical Services in 2005, then as Vice President of Operations and Human Resources in 2014, and subsequently as Vice President of Operations in 2015 before being elevated to Chief Operating Officer in 2017. Montone has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s operations and strategies, pivotal in its continued success in meeting the community’s healthcare needs. They express their heartfelt gratitude to him for his unwavering dedication and significant contributions to Primary Health Network.

After over 40 years of service, PHN has grown to become the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Pennsylvania and one of the largest in the nation. Currently, we staff over 150 physicians, dentists, physician assistants, certified nurse practitioners, and other health professionals. Our support staff includes over 450 employees, as well.
