Say What?!: Michigan Police Seek Stolen 5,000-Pound Bridge

FARMINGTON HILLS, Michigan – Police in Michigan are dealing with a heavy mystery after a man reported a 5,000-pound bridge stolen from his property in a Detroit suburb.

Robert Cortis filed a report with the Farmington Hills Police Department on Wednesday saying he visited his property in Farmington Hills, where he no longer lives, and discovered the 5,000 pound wood-and-steel bridge his father constructed decades ago was missing.

“My heart dropped. I felt lost,” Cortis told WXYZ-TV. “It has sentimental value.”
