State Police Calls: Harassment, DUI, Drug Possession

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Leeper Woman Charged with Harassment

Around 10:30 p.m. on June 18, an incident of harassment occurred in Clarion County.

Police say 20-year-old Monica Clapper, of Leeper, allegedly threatened to harm a 22-year-old Clarion woman.

Charges were filed at District Court 18-3-01.

No other information was provided.

DUI-Act 64 Violation in Ashland Township

A DUI-Act 64 violation occurred around 2:05 a.m. on June 18 on State Routes 338 and 322 intersection, in Ashland Township.

Police say 21-year-old Joseph Hart, of Franklin, was stopped for several traffic violations.

Hart allegedly showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.

“A search of Hart’s vehicle yielded a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia,” according to police.

DUI charges are pending lab results.

Drug Possession in Clarion Township

A drug arrest occurred around 5:07 p.m. on June 18 on Interstate 80 East, at approximately mile marker 71, in Clarion Township.

Police say the incident occurred as a traffic stop was initiated on 27-year-old Austin Mitchel Abir, of Bolton, MA.

“During the course of the stop, an odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle,” according to police.

“A probable cause search of the vehicle yielded marijuana,” police say.

Charges are pending.
