Rimersburg Woman Facing Charges for Making False Calls to 911, State Police

TOBY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to Clarion-based State Police, a Rimersburg woman has been arrested for creating false alarms between August 2 and August 7, on Reigel School Road in Toby Township, Clarion County.

At various times between 7:57 a.m. on August 2 and 4:41 p.m. on August 7, 27-year-old Jessica Lynn Neely, of Rimersburg, allegedly contacted 911 and the Pennsylvania State Police on six separate occasions for no apparent reason, creating a false alarm.

Court documents indicate criminal charges were filed against Neely in District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller’s office.

She was arraigned at 10:30 a.m. on August 8 on the following charges:

  • False Alarm To Agency Of Public Safety, Misdemeanor 1
  • Retaliation Against Witness or Victim, Misdemeanor 2
  • Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Misdemeanor 3
  • Harassment — Comm. Lewd, Threatening, Etc. Language, Misdemeanor 3 (three counts)
  • Harassment — Comm. Repeatedly and Inconvenient Hours, Misdemeanor 3 (three counts)
  • Disorderly Conduct-Unreasonable Noise, Misdemeanor 3
  • Disorder Conduct Obscene Lang/Gest, Misdemeanor 3

Unable to post $5,000.00 monetary bail, she was committed to Clarion County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on August 16 in front of Judge Miller.
