Vehicle, Harley Davidson Collide in Millcreek Township; Motorcycle Passenger Injured

MILLCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on Fisher-Strattanville Road, at its intersection with Spring Drive, in Millcreek Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 64-year-old Kenneth D. Wright, of Fredonia, and 42-year-old Jonette M. Ferris, of Strattanville, were involved in the collision.

Police say this crash occurred as a 2012 Harley Davidson Electro-glide Limited — operated by Wright — and a 2008 Dodge Caliber — driven by Ferris — were traveling north on Fisher-Strattanville Road. Both vehicles were stopped on the roadway, and a vehicle towing a camper was completing a turn from Spring Drive onto Fisher-Strattanville Road.

After the vehicle cleared, both the the Harley Davidson and the Dodge Caliber continued north, and for unknown reasons, the vehicle towing the camper stopped on the roadway. Wright stopped behind that vehicle; Ferris did not see that the Harley Davidson had stopped and rear-ended it.

A passenger on the motorcycle — 65-year-old Linda S. Wright, of Fredonia — was thrown off the vehicle. She was transported to Clarion Hospital for suspected minor injuries; she was wearing a motorcycle helmet.

Kenneth Wright was not injured. He was using a motorcycle helmet.

Ferris was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The motorcycle sustained minor damage.

Millcreek Volunteer Fire Department and Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
