Man Assaulted, Truck Set on Fire in Forest County

KINGSLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police are investigating an incident that happened shortly after midnight Monday in Forest County where a man was assaulted and his truck set on fire.

It happened on German Hill Road near the intersection of Route 666 in Kingsley Township.

A known man was assaulted by two men between the ages of 18 and 22 and during the assault, one suspect set the victim’s vehicle on fire, resulting in a total loss of the vehicle.

Both suspects are white and one is described as about 5-feet-11-inches tall with a thin build while the other is about 5-feet-5-inches with a medium build.

The vehicle they were driving is described as a dark-colored 1980s Chevy or GMC pickup with a regular cab and a wooden bed/tailgate.

The investigation continues.
