CSRA, an emerging leader in the background investigations industry, is seeking full-time Case Reviewers to support a large national background investigations program that provides investigative products and services to departments and agencies of the federal government.

CSRA Case Reviewers analyze investigation results and develop detailed reports for OPM’s Federal Investigative Support program. They are responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and assembling final investigative reports; providing in-depth investigative oversight to field investigators; and bringing conclusion to investigations in a rapid, suspense-oriented work environment, among other duties.

Case Reviewer applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration, or information systems. They may also have related field and prior experience in background investigation case review, field investigation or adjudication, or other related experience. Knowledge or experience working with investigative principles; practices and procedures; investigative case management systems (PIPS); and Office of Personnel Management policies for background investigations is preferred. Qualified applicants will have the ability to identify, understand, and apply federal, state, and local changes to and/or new regulations/laws pertaining to personnel investigations.

Additional qualifications include interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills to interact with customers, team members, and management; basic analytical and problem solving skills; and basic personal computer and business solutions software skills. Qualified candidates will also have the ability to work in a team environment and willingness to travel.
