Walter LaVerne (Vern) Sayers, 87, of Pompano Beach, FL passed away peacefully while in Hospice care in Fort Lauderdale on October 19.

He went to heaven to be reunited with his wife Joan and son John.

Walter is survived by his children: Bill (Cindy), Joe (Norman), Tom, daughter-in-law Diane Prunty (Joe), 9 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Born in New Castle, PA on November 28, 1928, he resided in Curllsville, PA, Margate, FL, Cheyanne, WY and Pompano Beach, FL.

As per his wishes, viewing and services will not be held.

A memorial will be announced at a future date.
