Jefferson County Man Accused of Binding, Beating Woman with Kids in the Car

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) — A Brockway man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a woman on Olivio Road, in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

According to DuBois-based State Police, around 9:00 p.m. on October 27, 33-year-old Daniel Robert Holt, of Brockway, allegedly coerced a known, 21-year-old female into his car and then physically assaulted her, binding her legs and grabbing her by the throat.

Police say Holt allegedly struck the known female multiple times and threw her from the car.

According to police, Holt had two children in the car at the time of the incident.

Charges are pending through District Court 54-3-02.
