Four Taken to Hospital After Sunday Afternoon Crash

ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Four people were taken to UPMC Northwest after a Sunday afternoon traffic accident on Rockland-Nickleville Road in Rockland Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 3:42 p.m., Joseph Masters, 20, of Oil City, driving a 2002 Chrysler Sebring, pulled from a private driveway onto Rockland-Nickleville Road into the path of a 2007 Ford Taurus, driven by 28-year-old Korey Beichner, of Knox.

Two passengers in the Taurus, 25-year-old Denise Beichner and a male infant, along with Korey Beichner and Masters, were taken to the hospital by Community Ambulance for observation.

The severity of the injuries was unknown.

All three adults were wearing seat belts and the child was in a safety seat.

Both cars were disabled and had to be towed from the scene by Venango Towing.

Rockland Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Masters was cited in the incident.
