C David and Son-Cha HillDavid Hill and his wife, Shin, of Green, Ohio, passed away together, Thursday, December. 1, 2016.

David Hill, 57, of Green passed away December 1, 2016. He was born April 8, 1959 in Canton, Ohio to the late Herbert and Dolores Hill. David was a graduate of Hoover High School and the Owner/CEO of Hill’s Supply, Inc, which had grown to provide dairy equipment, supplies and services to all of Ohio and parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Michigan and New York. David was dedicated to the farmers and dairymen he served, it was his passion. His ultimate enjoyment was his work and the people he met and worked with. David sponsored many County Fair Ice Cream Scooping programs, he loved to read and travel, he was an avid ballroom dancer, a pilot and loved to fly. He was a member of the Flying Tigers Snowmobile Club and the Ohio Farm Bureau.

David was a loving husband, dedicated stepdad and grandfather. He was kind, compassionate and generous. He enjoyed entertaining for his friends and was a good friend and neighbor to the communities of Green, Fisher, PA and French River Ontario. He was loved by many and will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.

David and his wife Shin were overcome by Carbon Monoxide and passed away together.

David is survived by his sister, Holly (Joseph) Mayernick; step-father, Herbert “Doyle” Smith; step-daughters, Lucy (Timothy) Speerhas and Laura Edder; grandchildren, Xander and Callie Speerhas; nieces and nephews, Amanda Wente, Larissa Sauder, Kyle Fedorko, Melissa Varsanyi and Kelli Jo Weaver; uncle, Roland (Pauline) Smith and aunt, Susan (Jerry) Hawk; 14 cousins as well as hundreds of friends.

Shin Hill, 69, of Green passed away December 1, 2016. She was born August 28, 1947 in Yeosu, South Korea and was the eldest of six. Shin graduated high school and went on to graduate from the School of Fashion and Design in South Korea. After school, she worked in a tailor shop in Yeosu where she would design and tailor clothing. After coming to the United States Shin lived in Clarion, Pennsylvania and was a longtime employee of Sealy Mattress Company.

Shin was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was extremely generous, caring and would do anything for her family. Shin was an avid gardener, accomplished seamstress and an incredible cook. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, spending time at the family cabins in Fisher, PA and French River Ontario, ballroom dancing and the outdoors. One of the things she most looked forward to was fishing off the dock in French River, Ontario. She was a good friend and neighbor in the community of Green and will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.

Shin is survived by her daughters, Lucy (Timothy) Speerhas and Laura Edder; grandchildren, Xander and Callie Speerhas; mother, Doh-Geum Chui; brothers, Kahng-Jin and Kahng-Shick Heo; sisters, Incha and Sunae Heo; 9 nieces and nephews; 9 cousins as well as many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Oon-Chae Heo and brother, Kahng-Young Heo.

Memorial service will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Greensburg United Methodist Church, 2161 Greensburg Road, North Canton, Ohio 44720 with Pastor Abby Auman officiating.
