Ella Jean Yochim, 77, of Clarion, passed away Tuesday, December. 6, 2016, at VNA Hospice in Butler.

She was born September 4, 1939 in Brookville, the daughter of the late James and Helen (Fagley) Blair.

In her teen years, Ella worked in various restaurants in the Clarion area. After graduation, she worked at the OI plant in Clarion and also worked at the cafeteria at the Old Clarion Hospital.

She enjoyed doing yard work and was a great cook and baker. She was also a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren.

Ella is survived by her son, Eric “Jake” Yochim of Clarion; daughter, Wendy Bowser of Cocoa, FL; grandchildren, Trevor and Shannon Bowser, both of Cocoa, FL; sister, Carol (Howard) Guntrum of Rimersburg; and nephews, Brade Guntrum of Sligo and Mike Guntrum of Clarion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edgar L. Yochim and 4 infant children.

Ella’s wishes were for there to be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
