Clarion Woman Accused of Theft of Credit Cards, Cash

MONROE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police say a theft occurred at a fast-food restaurant located on Route 68, in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 2:00 p.m. on November 29, 26-year-old Emily Lauren Crate, of Clarion, allegedly stole a purse that was located in the dining area of a fast-food restaurant at the above described location.

The purse contained credit cards, personal information, and $300.00 in cash, police say.

The victim is a 27-year-old Clarion woman.

According to court documents, Crate faces the following charges:

– Theft Property Lost Etc By Mistake, Misdemeanor 1
– Receiving Stolen Property, Misdemeanor 1

Court records indicate a preliminary arraignment is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge Timothy P. Schill.
