Learning Workshop Experienced Over 1,000 Visits in Fall 2016

CLARION, Pa. — The Clarion Community Learning Workshop was more than happy to see over 300 community members visit the workshop in Fall 2016 for a total of 1,000 visits.

The workshop moved to a new location over the summer. Many of its volunteers looked forward to a new venue at the 800 center near Dominos. CCLW being closer to Clarion University allows more opportunities for learning and support.

CCLW is a non—profit, volunteer based organization that provides free homework help, tutoring, education programs, and access to technology for K-12 and adult learners.

For the 2017 Spring, the workshop will be open Monday through Thursday from 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Fridays 3:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All types of learners are welcome to visit and see what CCLW can offer. Dr. Richard Lane and Dr. Leah Chambers, coordinators of the CCLW, are eager to continue providing, with the support of CU student volunteers, free learning services to the community.

Beginning this winter and spring, The CCLW has tutoring and homework help in all areas from pre-school to 12th grade, and in specific subjects for middle and high school students such as Physics, Chemistry, and Spanish. If you have questions or need additional information, call 814-226-4041 or email [email protected]. Come and join the fun and learning!
