Clarion County Man Injured After Pickup Crashes into Tree; Rolls Over on Miola Road

HIGHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Clarion County man was rushed to the hospital following a one-vehicle crash Feb. 13 on Miola Road.

Clarion-based State Police say Raymond E. Cook, 73, of Crown, was traveling east on Miola Road around 3:45 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle.

Cook’s 2011 GMC Sierra exited the left side of the roadway and struck a tree before crashing into an embankment.

State Police say the vehicle then rolled over before coming to a rest on the roadway.

Cook, who was not wearing a safety belt, was transported to Clarion Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

There is no word on his current condition.
