Smallest City in America Addressing National Drug Epidemic

PARKER, Pa. (EYT) — The smallest City in the United States, Parker, Pennsylvania, is tackling the opioid drug epidemic that is affecting the country and has spread to Western Pennsylvania.

The event — dubbed as a “Community Reality Check” — is being hosted by Residents Against Illicit Drugs (RAID) and will take place on February 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Parker City Fire Hall.

Among those in attendance will be RAID Founder Jeff Held, Armstrong County District Attorney Scott Andreassi, Armstrong County Sheriff Bill Rupert, Armstrong County Coroner Brian Myers, Clarion County District Attorney Mark Aaron, Clarion County Sheriff Rex Munsee, Clarion County Coroner Terry Shaffer, and families who have lost loved ones to overdoses.

The event is open to the public.

Parker City Fire Hall is located at 204 Wayne Ave, Parker PA 16049.
