PINEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Two area men avoided injuries in a vehicle crash Tuesday in Piney Township.

Clarion-based State Police said Thomas Hannold, 45, of Clarion was driving a 2008 Ford Escape north on Route 68 near the intersection of Shamrock Road around 1:53 p.m. when he crossed the center line and struck a 1999 Ford F150 driven by Thomas Newbill, 49, of Emlenton.

Newbill was driving south and had slowed down to turn right onto Shamrock Road.

Both men were wearing their seat belts.

Hannold was cited for driving with a suspended/revoked license.
