Clarion Borough Police Chief Bill Peck says the school was evacuated after a threatening note was discovered around 10:30 a.m.
A response dog used to detect explosive devices was brought in from Clearfield to help search the school, according to Peck.
Authorities did not find any explosive devices or other legitimate threats within the school.
Students were allowed to return to the school around 12:45 p.m.
