STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — For those who attended the Clarion-Limestone School District board meeting Wednesday night hoping to see a new superintendent named, they went home without an answer.

An executive session was scheduled, and many believed it was to hire a new superintendent, but it was not to be.
It was learned that three people were interviewed for the position — current Union-Rimersburg Superintendent Jean McCleary; Deana Sintobin, Special Education Supervisor with Riverview IU6; and Amy Glasl, the principal at Brockway Elementary School.
When C-L does name a superintendent, it will be the school’s third in a few years.
J.J. Johnson retired as superintendent in 2015, and Mike Stimac took over before leaving C-L earlier in 2017 to take a an elementary principal position in his home school district at Karns City.
Johnson has returned to be the acting superintendent until a new one is approved by the board.
The next board meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, April 19.
