Brenda Sue Blake, 62, of Hawthorn, died on Friday morning, March 17, 2017 at the UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born on August 26, 1954 in Brookville, the daughter of the late Russell I. and Alberta C. (Booser) Holt.

She was married in May 1977 to David E. Blake, Jr. and he survives.

She is also survived by her sister, Marty Himes and her husband, John, a niece, Amy Jo Ferringer and her husband, Jay, all of Hawthorn, and a great niece who she enjoyed spending time with, Bree Madison Ferringer.

She worked at the Hawthorn Shirt Factory and she also enjoyed sewing, crafts, and crocheting.

There will be no services. Interment will be in the Shannondale Union Cemetery, Redbank Township, Clarion County.
