CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Two area youth wrestlers have advanced to the Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Tournament being held Friday and Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Owen Reinsel was the Area V champion in the 12-year-old-and-under 85-pound group, while Derek Smail was the Area V champion in the 10-years-old-and-under 150-pound group.

Reinsel, a seventh grader at Clarion-Limestone, is the son of David and Trudy Reinsel of Frogtown. This is his fifth time qualifying for the Pennsylvania State Tournament.

Smail, a fourth grader at Clarion Elementary School, is the son of David and Jami Smail of Shippenville. This is his third time qualifying for the state tournament, and he finished third in the 8-years-old and under tournament at 110 pounds last year.
