Local Standout Receives Scholarship at Varischetti All-Star Football Game

BROCKWAY, Pa. (EYT) — Former Union/A-C Valley football player Dana Logue, a native of Sligo, received a scholarship at Friday’s Frank Varischetti All-Star football game.

Logue, a standout for the Falcon Knights, received a $1,000 scholarship from Farmers National Bank.

He was a member of the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference All-Stars.

Logue was an all-KSAC Offensive Lineman and Linebacker for the Union/A-C Valley co-op. In Friday’s game, he played on the defensive line and at linebacker.

He was also an honorable mention All-State lineman and linebacker.

In addition, Logue was a Third Team KSAC Baseball All-Star.

Logue will be attending Westminster College this fall and will be a member of the football team.

He will major in biology at Westminster and plans to become a Physician’s Assistant upon graduation.
