CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The BBQ half chicken special is back at the Captain Loomis Restaurant in downtown Clarion.

Every Saturday, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., diners can enjoy the special for just $9.50.

The meal consists of a 1.25 to 1.5 pound half chicken that is grilled outdoors on The Loomis’ patio.

It includes a breast, wing, thigh and leg. It is basted with BBQ sauce (unless customer requests otherwise) and served with a dinner roll and a choice of two sides.

Sides include oven roasted potatoes, green beans, baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad.
