State Police Calls: Criminal Mischief, DUI

pspsThe Pennsylvania State Police responded to the following incidents.

Criminal Mischief in Tionesta

Marienville-based State Police responded to a criminal mischief incident along Darby Lane in Tionesta Township, Forest County.

The incident occurred as unknown person(s) threw rocks through the glass portion of a bedroom window and exterior door.

Police said the incident happened sometime between July 23 and August 5.

The victim is listed as a 55-year-old Tionesta man.

The investigation is ongoing.

DUI in Shippenville Borough

Clarion-based State Police said a 24-year-old man was taken into custody and charged with DUI following a July 23 traffic stop on Main Street in Shippenville Borough.

The man was pulled over around 2:05 a.m. after police observed him committing a traffic violation.

Charges will be formally filed pending the results of blood-alcohol content tests.
