BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — The preliminary hearing for a Sigel man who allegedly sold methamphetamine to undercover police officers on two occasions earlier this month was waived in district court.

The two cases against 30-year-old Curtis Vincent Walker, of Sigel, were transferred to the Jefferson County Court of Common Pleas.

He faces the following charges:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony (two counts)
– Criminal Attempt – Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3 (two counts)
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor (three counts)
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor (two counts)

He remains lodged in the Jefferson County Jail on $120,000.00 monetary bail.

His case is working its way through the court system.

Walker has a history of drug-related arrests that date back to 2006.

Walker was part of a trio of men who the Jefferson County Drug Task Force arrested on methamphetamine charges following a recent investigation.

A preliminary hearing for Joseph Fyock has been rescheduled for September 14, and William Todd’s hearing is set for October 3.

Details of the case:

From August 1 to August 4, controlled buys of methamphetamine were conducted by members of the Drug Task Force in Eldred Township, according to Jeff Burkett, Jefferson County District Attorney.

“Based upon warrants obtained for two subjects pursuant to these buys a controlled traffic stop was initiated by members of the DTF, Pa. State Police K-9 unit, and Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies,” Burkett said.

As a result of the stop, methamphetamine, money, and evidence of drug sales were discovered in the vehicle and upon the occupants of the vehicle.

Based upon the traffic stop and surveillance of a residence on Beers Road, a search warrant was obtained for several buildings located at 691 Beers Road, in Sigel.

The search revealed a substantial amount of methamphetamine with a street value of more than $7,000, and evidence of sales that include scales and paraphernalia.
