Woman Jailed in Sugar Shack Slashing

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A 22-year-old woman is accused of slashing another woman at a Clarion Township strip club.

According to court documents, Clarion-based State Police filed criminal charges on Saturday, August 26, against 22-year-old Quanshay Teonta McEachin, of Johnsonburg.

According to a criminal complaint, Clarion-based State Trooper Berggren investigated an incident of aggravated assault that occurred at the Sugar Shack located on Route 66 in Clarion Township.

The complaint states that on June 3, Quanshay McEachin used a pocket-style folding knife to cut a female victim three times before being separated by Sugar Shack employees.

McEachin attacked the victim a second time by punching, scratching, and pulling the victim’s hair.

The victim suffered wound injuries above her right hip, above her right eye, and on her right hand from the pocket knife.

She also suffered scratches and bruises on her shoulder, right and left arms, right and left legs, forearm, and face.

A medical evaluation was conducted on the victim, and it was determined that her injuries required stitches.

McEachin was arraigned at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, on the following charges:

– Aggravated Assault, Felony 2
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting, Misdemeanor 3
– Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

Unable to post $25,000.00 monetary bail, she was lodged in the Clarion County Jail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, September 5, in District Judge Duane Quinn’s office.
