BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Two people are facing drug and related charges after a traffic stop in Beaver Township.
According to Clarion-based State Police, on September Trooper Allison recognized a wanted Oil City man — 28-year-old Joshua James Fair — in a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Victoria Lynn Newbill, of Emlenton, on Route 338.
Fair was wanted by the state Parole Board.
An infant was also inside the vehicle.
After making a traffic stop, Trooper Allison found items related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
According to police, Fair was charged with the following offenses:
– Conspiracy — Possessing Phenylpropanolamine, etc., or a precursor substance with intent to unlawfully manufacture a controlled substance
– Conspiracy — Manufacture, Delivery or Possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance by person not registered to do so
Fair was returned to the Venango County Jail and faces a hearing for violating his parole on September 28.
Newbill was charged with:
– Conspiracy — Possessing Phenylpropanolamine, etc., or a precursor substance with intent to unlawfully manufacture a controlled substance
– Conspiracy — Manufacture, Delivery or Possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance by person not registered to do so
– Endangering the Welfare of Children
– Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution
She is facing a preliminary hearing.
