Clarion High XC Sweeps Individual Honors at Tri-Meet

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (D9SPorts) — Running against Moniteau and Clarion-Limestone, the Clarion Cross Country teams had four individual overall champions Tuesday at a meet held at the Clarion County Park.

Winning titles for the Bobcats were Bella Scott, Gavin Hoover, Katie Craig and Nathaniel Lerch.

Clarion swept the junior high and varsity boys’ races. There was no scoring in the varsity girls race.

The varsity boys took the first the first seven places against Moniteau resulting in the perfect score 15-50 and have yet to surrender a point in a dual meet.

Lerch was the Overall winner of the boys’ varsity race in 18:26 and Craig won the girls’ race in 23:25.

Top runners for Clarion-Limestone were Andrew Forest 18:30 and Hanna Rittenhouse 22:29.

The Warriors were paced by Alex Conn in 21:49 and Madison Cumberland 27:39.
