Robotics Program to Be Held at St. Joseph School, Lucinda

LUCINDA, Pa. — Clarion University professor Dr. Dana Madison has graciously agreed to facilitate a weekly Robotics Class for the 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students at St. Joseph School.

The class will meet every Wednesday from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

The students are also excited to participate in the school’s newly established Robotics Club that will meet weekly after school. They will be assembling and programming the robots. The VEX IQ robots and ROBOTC are the highest caliber hardware and software that are available for use by students in this age bracket. After completing the robotics instruction, the students will be prepared to take on higher level robotics instruction.

The Robotics Program is being sponsored by Dr. Dana Madison, The Fryburg Sportsman’s Club, and Bianchi Honda.
