State Police Calls: Theft, Credit Card Fraud

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Theft in Piney Township

On September 22, PSP investigated an incident in which two trail cameras were stolen from a field located near 13802 Route 68, in Piney Township.

The incident occurred sometime between September 3 and September 22.

Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to contact PSP Clarion at 814-226-1710.

Access Device Fraud in Monroe Township

On Tuesday, September 19 at 3:11 p.m., a Monroe Township couple came to the PSP Clarion station to report an access device fraud.

The individuals stated that around 11:41 a.m. on August 18, their credit card information was used in the Treasure Lake Community in DuBois, Clearfield County.

They attempted to follow up with business owners, but they have been unable to locate the business where the card was used.
