Cornerstone Church Dinner Theatre Fundraiser

The fundraiser is for 13 teens and nine adults who are going to the Philippines in June. The youth missions team will be performing “Death By Dessert” by Nathan Hartswick at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, and at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22. Saturday’s dinner will feature all different types of soups, chili, and cornbread. Sunday’s menu features ham and scalloped potatoes. The cost for the show and meal is $15.00 for adults and teens; $8.00 for children ages six to 12; and it is free for children five and under. Tickets are available by calling the church office at 814-226-4949.
St. Michael Parish 44th Annual Oktoberfest

Join the fun and have “ein prosit der Gemütlichkeit” at St. Michael Parish in Fryburg on October 21, 2017, for the 44th Annual Oktoberfest celebration. St. Michael’s Oktoberfest began in 1973 as a way for the Fryburg community to celebrate and share its rich German heritage. The vast majority of the original settlers of Fryburg came from southwestern Germany throughout the 1820s and 1830s, particularly from the region of Baden-Württemberg in which its namesake, the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, is located. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Guests must be 21 years or older to enter. All proceeds from the Oktoberfest benefit St. Michael Parish. Tickets are $25.00

YMCA Punt, Pass, & Kick Competition

Where: Clarion University Football Stadium, Clarion, Pa.
Details: The Clarion County YMCA will be hosting a Punt, Pass & Kick Competition on Sunday, October 22, at the Clarion University Football Stadium. The Punt, Pass & Kick competition is for youth in first grade through sixth grade. All youth will compete in distance and accuracy while punting, passing and kicking a football within their age group. The competition begins at 1:00 p.m. The winners of the competition will receive trophies. Registration is required by this Friday, October 20. The cost is just $5.00 per participant.
