ELK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — One person was killed when a car crashed into a house late Wednesday evening in Elk Township, Clarion County.

According to a representative of Clarion County 911, around 11:51 p.m., a vehicle crashed into a house along Route 208.

One patient was transported via STAT MedEvac to UPMC Presbyterian.

The Allegheny County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Colby O’Day, of Venus.

Shippenville-Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department, Shippenville-Elk Volunteer Ambulance Service, Knox Volunteer Fire Company, Clarion-based State Police, and Columbia Gas were called to the scene.

The scene was cleared at 1:16 a.m.

State Police in Clarion are expected to release specific details on the accident soon.
