Louise E. Shreffler, 89, of Franklin, passed away on December 16, 2017 at 7:20 am at UPMC Northwest.
Born August 21, 1928 in Nickleville, Richland Twp., she was the daughter of the late Orlo Ory and Gladys Naoma (Haniwalt) Shreffler.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, George K. Rupert, Jr. of Franklin; John Rupert of Greeley, CO; Joseph Rupert of Oil City; and James Rupert of Franklin; her daughters, Barbara Ceiko and her husband, Steven, of Chicago, IL; Debra Baker and her husband, Dennis, of Franklin; and Joanne Ambrose of Oil City; several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Orlo Shreffler, Jr. of California and Donald E. Shreffler of Seneca.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her infant daughter; her sisters, Virginia Bell and Gertrude Blair; and her brother, Chuck Shreffler.
Friends are invited to the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home following visitation at 4:00 pm with Rev. Samuel Wagner, Associate Pastor, of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Cemetery.
