CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Clarion County and surrounding areas.

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh issued the following Urgent Winter Weather Message at 5:40 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018:

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS EVENING…

* WHAT…Snow expected. A brief period of freezing rain possible. Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected. A light glaze of ice is possible.

* WHERE…Portions of western Pennsylvania.

* WHEN…Until 7 PM EST this evening.
