BROCKWAY, Pa. (D9Sports) — Following action Tuesday night, District 9 basketball chairman Jim Manners updated the brackets filling in a few of the missing pieces in Class 1A and Class 3A.
In Class 1A girls, top-seeded North Clarion will take on ninth-seeded DuBois Central Catholic, who beat Cameron County, 48-42, Tuesday night at 6 p.m. Friday at Clarion High School. That game will be the first of a doubleheader at Clarion High with the 7:30 p.m. game featuring the North Clarion boys vs. A-C Valley. Earlier in the day, it was announced that the game between seventh-seeded Brockway and second-seeded Otto-Eldred would take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kane High School.
In Class 3A boys, second-seeded Brookville and third-seeded Kane will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Marys High School in the semifinals, while in Class 3A girls, second-seeded Moniteau and third-seeded Karns City will square off at 7 p.m. Friday at Keystone High School in the semifinals. In Class 3A boys, Karns City has a bye into the championship game, while in Class 3A girls, Brookville has a bye into the title game.
