David C. Hawk

David C. Hawk, 73, of Cranberry, died peacefully, February 5, 2018, at The Caring Place in Franklin.

Born February 22, 1944, in Franklin, he was the son of the late Charles and M. AuDean Kugler Hawk.

After graduating from Cranberry High School, David was an owner of the Log Cabin Steakhouse and then worked as a truck driver until his retirement.

Mr. Hawk enjoyed hunting and being outdoors; and was a member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Club.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Hawk and his wife Stephanie of Cooperstown, and Michael Hawk of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and four grandchildren, Taten, Turner, Levi, and Garrett Hawk.

David is also survived by daughters AuDean Horner and her husband Matt of Dempseytown, Melissa Hogue and her husband Dan of Oil City; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Also surviving is his girlfriend, Kathleen Brennan of Long Island, NY.

There will be no visitation or services per David’s request.

The Morrison Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Because of his love of animals, memorials are suggested to the Venango County Humane Society at 286 S. Main Street, Seneca, PA 16346.
