Clarion University Spoken Arts Series Presents Poet Cameron Barnett

CLARION, Pa. — Poet Cameron Barnett will give a reading on Tuesday, March 6, as part of Clarion University’s Spoken Arts Visiting Writers Series.

The event is at 5:00 p.m. in the University Art Gallery.

The reading is open to the public.

His first poetry collection, “The Drowning Boy’s Guide to Water,” was a finalist for an NAACP Image Award.

Barnett holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was poetry editor for Hot Metal Bridge and co-coordinator of Pitt’s Speakeasy Reading Series. He teaches middle school at Falk Laboratory School and is an associate poetry editor for Pittsburgh Poetry Review.
