LEEPER, Pa. (EYT) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying a driver involved in a police pursuit early Monday evening.
The incident occurred around 5:10 p.m. when a Marienville-based State Police trooper initiated a traffic stop on State Route 36, approximately two miles south of Leeper.
Police said the vehicle fled north into Leeper and then west into Tylersburg where it entered the woods and escaped on a trail.
The vehicle appears to be a blue Subaru Forester with possible damage to its left front fender.
Information pertaining to the registration plate is unknown, according to police.
