State Police Calls: Public Intoxication, DUI-Act 64, Domestic Dispute

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Public Intoxication in Clarion Township

Around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, state police were dispatched for a possible fight at Comet Food Store.

Upon arrival, 32-year-old Arvin Hines was observed allegedly intoxicated in a public place.

Hines was cited for Public Intoxication.

DUI/Act 64 in Madison Township

The state police investigated a crash where the known 21-year-old Parker man drove off the roadway and struck an embankment.

Upon further investigation, the driver was found to be driving under the influence and was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

The name of the driver was not released.

Assault in Shippenville

Police responded to an assault around 9:45 p.m. on March 10 at a residence on Route 322 in Shippenville.

Following an investigation of an inactive domestic dispute, 47-year-old Richard Lewis Ganci, Jr. and 39-year-old Sherry Lynn Ganci, both of Shippenville, were arrested for Simple Assault.

Charges were filed at Magisterial District Office 18-3-03.
