More Wintry Weather Expected As Spring Arrives

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Tuesday may be the first day of spring, but the weather is not what most want to see on the vernal equinox.

In fact, according to the National Weather Service, the region may see a few inches of snow tonight and early Wednesday.

In the Clarion area, there is a 70 percent chance of snow after 7:00 p.m. One inch is possible with a low temperature of 24 and winds out of the northeast at 11 miles per hour.

On Wednesday, there is a 40 percent chance of snow, mainly before 2:00 p.m. The high temperature will be 35 with continued winds out of the northeast at 11 miles per hour.

Temperatures are expected to remain cold through the week with highs ranging from 36 to near 40 and lows ranging from 16 to 24 degrees.
