YMCA Introduces Free ‘Smart Start’ Program to New Members

CLARION, Pa. — YMCA members are reaching their fitness goals with a little help from the experts through a new Y program called “Smart Start.”

The Smart Start program was introduced by the YMCA on March 1, 2018.

Smart Start is an exercise program for new members that provides an easy-to-follow plan and cutting-edge fitness tools. New Y members joining to reach a fitness goal will not be alone in the process. Highly trained YMCA staff will help set attainable goals and will provide the ongoing support necessary for success.

Smart Start is a free service for new YMCA members within the first month of joining.  The program includes $150 in free personal coaching services.  In three short meetings, a personal coach will help you become a confident individual who is excited about working out. In just a few sessions, you will gain the tools and resources that will help you succeed.

You will finally learn what really works in terms of exercise, weight loss, and having more energy – not to mention just becoming healthier. The Smart Start program is valued at $150.00 but offered at no cost to all new members if you sign up within 30 days of joining the Y.

To sign up for the Smart Start program, join the Y and make your first appointment at the Member Service Desk.  If you are a new YMCA member who joined the Y in the last 30 days, make your first appointment and get started today.
