State Police Calls: Harassment, Motor Vehicle Theft

FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Harassment in Marienville

According to police, around 1:05 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 45-year-old Larry E. Burns, of Erie, and a known 49-year-old Marienville woman engaged in a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical altercation.

Burns was charged with Harassment in District Court 37-4-03.

The investigation is ongoing.

Motor Vehicle Theft in Tionesta

Police say sometime between 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, and 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, an unknown individual took a 37-year-old Tidioute man’s black 2008 Ford Edge from a driveway on German Hill Road in Green Township. (The keys were left inside the vehicle.)

The individual then fled in an unknown direction.

The vehicle was later recovered near Colorado Road in Southwest Township, Warren County.

The investigation continues.
