CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Cricket Song Café is expanding their hours of operation and opening for brunch on Sundays.
Cricket Song is now open until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings for dinner.
Their new hours are now Monday through Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Cricket Song is also open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for brunch on Sundays.
A new Sunday Brunch Menu consists of both breakfast and lunch entrees. Breakfast items available will include eggs with sides, stuffed French toast, pancakes, and eggs Benedict on freshly made-from-scratch English muffins.

Lunch items available will include Reubens, Tuscan flatbread, Waldorf Salad, Crab Cakes with a quinoa salad, and Shrimp and Grits Scampi.
Waldorf Salad
Orange juice, tomato juice, and apple juice will also be available, offering the opportunity for those who take advantage of the BYOB policy to create their own Bloody Mary or Mimosa.
Sunday brunches will be a permanent fixture, and the menu will change periodically.
Future menu items of interest may include sausage gravy and biscuits, hot browns, crepes, and Monte Christos.

The eclectic atmosphere includes many re-purposed décor items that include antique lamps, old church pews, fireplace hearths, and other items. One of the other interesting things about the café is that virtually everything is for sale. Tables, chairs, lamps, paintings, art – if it has a tag, it’s for sale.
Winds of Trade – which teaches individuals skills and trades they can use in their work – has built many of the tables in the café. The organization serves a variety of people in the community, including individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, senior citizens, veterans, and youth.
Cricket Song Café is located at 11997 PA 66, just south of Interstate 80, in Limestone Township, Clarion, Pa.
