Clair F. “Butch” Surrena, of (Marion Twp., Butler Co) Harrisville, passed at home on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 3:30 AM following an illness since Nov. of 2017. He was 73.

Butch was born in Harrisville on June 21, 1945 to Clair F. and Olive Mae (Norris) Surrena. He married Helen M. Hovis on Nov. 2, 1962; She preceded him in death on April 9, 2018.

Butch was a truck driver for over 50 years. He drove until his recent illness for various people and companies in the area.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dogs, Harry and Doc.

Butch is survived by 3 children, James. F. Surrena and wife Terry, Bill E. Surrena and wife Melissa, both Harrisville and Tina M. Miller and husband Randal, Polk, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Peg Richmond, Harrisville and Ann Hutchison, SC and a brother, Harold Surrena and wife Sherry, Harrisville,

In addition to his parents and wife Clair is preceded in death by his stepfather, James Glen Surrena, a grandson Neil F. Surrena and a brother, William J. Surrena
